The second convention of the Mana American Telugu Association (MATA) 2026 commenced in a grand manner, bringing together the Telugu diaspora across the United States on a single platform. The two-day mega event, being held on June 19 and 20 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, stands as a celebration of Telugu culture, traditions, and community spirit.

The opening-day Banquet Night was marked by vibrant celebrations and enthusiastic participation from thousands of Indian-American families. Reflecting MATA’s core values of service, culture, and equality, the convention featured a wide range of programs aimed at strengthening community bonds and preserving Telugu heritage for future generations.

Veteran actress and former Member of Parliament Jaya Prada graced the event as the chief guest, adding glamour and prestige to the occasion. Several prominent Tollywood and television personalities, including actor Nikhil Siddhartha, actress Aishwarya Rajesh, Swathi Reddy, actor Ali, and anchor Suma, attended the convention and interacted with the audience.

Entertainment programs were a major highlight of the evening. Popular comedians Adhire Abhi and Sudhakar kept the audience laughing with their hilarious performances. Renowned mimicry artists Shiva Reddy and Ramesh entertained attendees with impressive voice imitations of various celebrities.

The musical segment electrified the gathering as singer Ram Miriyala delivered a high-energy live concert. Singers Sameera Bharadwaj, Rita, Ramachari, and others added to the festive atmosphere with their soulful and energetic performances.
