The National Leadership of the North America Telugu Society (NATS) held a productive meeting with the NATS Charlotte Chapter team on Saturday, July 18, to discuss upcoming community initiatives and strengthen engagement with the growing Telugu community in the region.

The meeting was attended by NATS Chairman Kishore Kancharla, Board of Directors member Ajay Govada, Executive Committee Web Secretary Kishore Nare, and Arun Sriramaneni, National Coordinator for India Liaison. Representing the Charlotte Chapter were Siddhartha Chaganti, Deepika Sayyaparaju, Lakshmi Bijjala, Rupa Marri, Vineela Dopalapudi, and Suma Jujjuru.

During the meeting, Chairman Kishore Kancharla applauded the Charlotte Chapter for its outstanding dedication and active community involvement. He gave special recognition to the chapter's women leaders, praising their energy, enthusiasm, and leadership in driving the chapter's success.

With preparations underway for the NATS Convention – "America Telugu Sambaralu 2027," scheduled to be held from May 28 to 30, 2027, at the Dallas Convention Center, the Chairman formally invited the Charlotte Chapter members to take on key responsibilities in the planning and execution of the prestigious event.

The National Leadership also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Charlotte Chapter in launching new initiatives that will bring together and empower the rapidly growing Telugu community in the Charlotte area.

Expressing her gratitude, Charlotte Chapter Coordinator Deepika Sayyaparaju said that meeting the national leadership and receiving their appreciation was a great source of motivation for the entire team. She added that the chapter looks forward to organizing more impactful community programs with the continued support of NATS.
