The poster for the launch ceremony of Women Empowerment Telugu Association (WETA) India was unveiled by the organization's Founder, Jhansi Reddy, in Hyderabad. WETA India is set to be officially launched in a grand ceremony on June 24 at the Jubilee Hills Convention Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, Jhansi Reddy said that WETA India aims to expand across the country with a mission to promote women's empowerment, leadership development, employment opportunities, education, healthcare, and social participation. She emphasized that true empowerment means enabling women to make decisions, build self-confidence, develop leadership skills, and create opportunities for growth.
She stated that WETA India will serve as a platform to encourage and support women, young girls, students, and emerging women leaders across India.
Jhansi Reddy further revealed that the summit at Jubilee Hills Convention Centre will feature distinguished speakers addressing key topics such as women’s empowerment, legal awareness, employment, leadership, health, sustainable development, and career building.
The event will also host the announcement of winners of the “Women Empowerment Telugu Short Film Challenge – 2026”, followed by the presentation of cash awards to the winners.
