As part of the ongoing administrative restructuring in Andhra Pradesh, the state government has transferred several IAS officers and assigned key additional responsibilities.
Shashi Bhushan Kumar, who is currently serving as the Special Chief Secretary of the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department, has now been entrusted with the responsibilities of the Water Resources Department as well.
Meanwhile, the government relieved Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad from his full additional charge as the Special Chief Secretary of the Water Resources Department.
In another key development, Kanthilal Dande, Principal Secretary of the Environment and Forests Department, has been given full additional charge of the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department. The government stated that the orders would come into immediate effect.
