Air India has announced a major decision to temporarily reduce several international flight services. The airline said the move comes amid rising fuel prices and increasing airspace restrictions across various regions.

In an official statement, Air India confirmed the suspension of services on six major international routes. These include Delhi–Chicago, Mumbai–New York, Delhi–Shanghai, Chennai–Singapore, Mumbai–Dhaka, and Delhi–Male.

The airline stated that the suspension will remain in effect from June to August. Air India clarified that the decision was taken considering passenger safety, operational costs, and prevailing global aviation conditions.

Passengers affected by the cancellations will be offered alternative travel arrangements or full refunds, the airline added.
