A significant political development has taken place in Telangana. Kalvakuntla Kavitha has received the green signal from the Election Commission of India for her new political party, TRS, though with a slight modification in its name.
While the party was initially proposed as “Telangana Rashtra Sena,” the final approval has been granted under the name “Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS).” Kavitha officially launched the party on the 25th of this month, ensuring that the abbreviation “TRS” remains part of the name.
Due to technical reasons, the earlier name “Telangana Rashtra Sena” was kept pending by the Election Commission. With the revised name now approved, Kavitha’s supporters are celebrating this development.
