The Andhra Pradesh edition of Hack to the Future 2026 concluded at GITAM Deemed University, bringing together 23 student teams from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. During the five-day residential bootcamp, students developed technology-driven solutions to address real-world challenges in their communities.

Using AI, robotics, app development, and digital tools, participants created innovations such as water quality monitoring systems, elephant alert mechanisms for farmers, smart emergency systems for buses, cybercrime awareness chatbots, and child marriage prevention applications. A fan-mounted suicide prevention device that triggers an alarm during an attempted hanging drew particular attention.

The event highlighted the impact of the Future Skills curriculum being implemented in government schools across Andhra Pradesh, helping students build critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation skills. Educators, students, and officials also discussed AI literacy and the future of education, emphasizing the need to prepare young people for emerging career opportunities in a rapidly evolving world.
