The notice issued by the DMK leaders said: "To discuss and pass a resolution on the urgent matter of concern regarding the proposed Mekedatu Balancing Reservoir on the Cauvery River, its impact on the affected state of Tamil Nadu and the need to constitute a tribunal in this regard" all other businesses should be suspended.
