AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu has proposed implementing Singapore-style governance practices in one district of Andhra Pradesh. Addressing the Collectors’ Conference at the Secretariat in Amaravati, the Chief Minister directed officials to prepare a comprehensive 90-day action plan to adopt the best administrative practices followed in Singapore.

Highlighting regional development, the CM noted that Alluri district has achieved better GSDP growth than Parvathipuram due to value addition in coffee cultivation. He stressed the need for innovation, industrial expansion, and growth in the services sector.

Naidu also pointed out that Andhra Pradesh has rich rare earth mineral resources, and establishing processing units could generate major industrial and employment opportunities.

Focusing on tourism-led growth, he said development of beach fronts at Suryalanka, Manginapudi, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Mypadu would create significant livelihood opportunities for coastal communities.
