According to the data released by the Controller General of Accounts (CGA), the Centre’s net tax revenue was Rs 6.36 lakh crore, or 22.2 per cent of the corresponding BE 2026-27 of total receipts, up to June 2026. “In the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, the net tax revenue was at 19 per cent of that year’s BE,” CGA said
