Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to implement the ‘Partners in Nation-Building’ programme across the state with the active participation of people and government employees.
Naidu held a review meeting with senior officials of various departments at RTGS in the Secretariat on Tuesday. He said government employees, officers and the public should participate in the programme and contribute to nation-building by ensuring effective delivery of government services.
The Chief Minister called upon every employee and officer to work towards achieving the goals of Viksit Bharat and Swarna Andhra.
Naidu directed officials to take up road repairs under the ‘Road Doctor’ programme with a mission to achieve zero potholes across the state. He said the initiative was already being implemented successfully in some parts of Andhra Pradesh and should be extended statewide.
Referring to the large turnout of people at the recent inauguration of the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram, Naidu said people would voluntarily participate when the government undertakes good and meaningful programmes. He also asked officials to explain facts to the public on various issues.
The CM also cited the example of teachers selected through Mega DSC-2025, who organised a ‘Self-Respect Rally’ in support of the government. He said the teachers defended their merit-based selection and condemned allegations by the YSRC regarding irregularities in teacher recruitment.
