A leopard was spotted on the Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) campus, causing concern among students and staff. The animal was reportedly seen near hostel and residential areas, prompting university authorities and forest officials to increase surveillance.

Following the sighting, forest teams launched monitoring operations and advised students to remain cautious, especially during early morning and evening hours. Camera traps and regular patrols have been deployed to track the leopard's movement.

Officials believe the animal may have entered the campus from the nearby Seshachalam forest area. No injuries or untoward incidents have been reported so far.

Authorities have urged the public not to panic and to immediately inform officials if the leopard is spotted again.
