India's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) ecosystem is expected to grow to ₹75,000 crore within the next three years and eventually cross the ₹1 lakh crore mark, said Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, IAS (Retd.), widely regarded as one of the principal architects of India's CSR framework.

He was speaking at the knowledge session "CSR Meets the Social Stock Exchange: A Journey Ahead," organised by EQUIPPP in Hyderabad, where CSR leaders discussed innovative funding mechanisms for social impact initiatives.

During the event, Grace Cancer Foundation announced that it is preparing for listing on the Social Stock Exchange (SSE). The foundation also unveiled major expansion plans, including the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for Preventive Oncology, deployment of 100% AI-enabled mobile cancer screening units, and expansion of cancer and non-communicable disease (NCD) screening services across India.

Speakers at the session highlighted the growing role of the Social Stock Exchange in enabling transparent funding, improving accountability, and accelerating support for impactful social initiatives across the country.
