Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s much-awaited film Raaka has created a new record even before its theatrical release. The movie has entered the Guinness World Records for “Most People Motion-Captured in Real-Time”, with 37 performers captured simultaneously. The record was achieved in Mumbai on September 15, 2026.
The motion-capture session involved performers ranging from a four-year-old child to a 70-year-old. The film’s technical team used an advanced setup involving 92 optical motion-capture cameras and real-time visualisation technology to record the performers simultaneously.
Guinness World Records officially recognised the achievement, with Allu Arjun and Atlee receiving the certificate. Produced by Sun Pictures, Raaka also stars Deepika Padukone and is expected to release in 2027.
