Representatives of the American Telugu Association (ATA) met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and formally invited him to attend the prestigious 19th ATA Convention as the chief guest. During the meeting, the ATA delegation discussed the organization’s community service initiatives, cultural activities, and the significance of the upcoming convention.

The grand convention is scheduled to be held from July 31 to August 2, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland. The event is expected to bring together Telugu people from across the globe and feature a wide range of programs related to culture, education, business, youth empowerment, and technology.

ATA President Jayanth Challa, Convention Convener Sridhar Banala, along with other representatives, personally met the Chief Minister and presented the official invitation letter.

The delegation highlighted ATA’s continued efforts in promoting Telugu language, culture, and community welfare among Telugu people living abroad. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu appreciated the services rendered by Telugu associations overseas and praised ATA’s role in preserving Telugu heritage and strengthening unity among the global Telugu community.
