The Mana American Telugu Association is set to host a dedicated Legal Forum as part of its prestigious “MATA 2nd Convention–26,” aimed at addressing key legal concerns of the Telugu diaspora.
The convention will be held from June 19 to June 20, 2026, at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. As part of the two-day event, the Legal Forum is scheduled on Saturday, June 20, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
The primary objective of the forum is to create awareness among expatriate Telugu communities about various legal issues they commonly encounter. The discussions will cover important topics such as immigration laws and policies, family and legal disputes, real estate transactions, and business law compliance.
Renowned legal experts from the United States will serve as moderators and presenters, offering guidance and addressing queries from participants. The panel includes Santosh R. Somireddy, Founding Partner of Somireddy Law Group, Prema Roddam, General Counsel at Compunnel Inc., and Madhurima Paturi, Founding Partner of Paturi Law.
Prema Roddam will serve as an advisor for the forum, while Kalyani Bellamkonda is the coordinator.
Organizers stated that the forum is designed to strengthen legal awareness and empower the Telugu community living abroad with practical knowledge of U.S. laws.
