The spirit of Telugu language and culture came alive in the Bay Area as the Paatasala 13th celebrations (Vasanthotsavam) were held with great grandeur under the joint aegis of the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) and the Bay Area Telugu Association (BATA).

More than 500 guests, including students, parents, teachers, and well-wishers, attended the vibrant cultural event, turning the occasion into a memorable celebration of tradition and talent.

The six-hour-long festivities captivated the audience with a colorful blend of drama, music, literature, and cultural performances. Children impressed the gathering with stage plays such as Gunapatham, Paramanandayya Gari Shishyulu, and Shiva Sankalpam, showcasing both acting skills and cultural depth. Students also recited slokas, poems, and lyrical performances that filled the auditorium with a traditional and spiritual atmosphere.

One of the major highlights of the evening was the emotional and inspiring Graduation Walk, where students and teachers from various centers walked onto the stage and received certificates amid loud applause from the audience.

The event was graced by chief guests, Visakhapatnam MP M. Bharat and Andhra Pradesh Government’s Special Representative for North America Jayaram Komati, who congratulated the school team for organizing the grand celebration. They expressed amazement at the exceptional performances delivered by the young Telugu children living abroad and praised the efforts being made to preserve Telugu language and culture on foreign soil.
