Suriya fans who missed Vishwanath & Sons in theatres will soon be able to watch the film from home. The Venky Atluri-directed family entertainer is officially heading to Netflix, with its OTT premiere scheduled for September 11, 2026.
The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, making the digital release accessible to audiences across several major Indian-language markets. Netflix and the filmmakers confirmed the streaming date through their official announcement.
Vishwanath & Sons opened in cinemas on August 14 and has enjoyed a strong theatrical run. The makers announced that the film crossed โน260 crore in worldwide gross within 25 days. It has also emerged as one of the biggest Tamil hits of 2026 and the second Suriya film this year to cross the โน250-crore mark globally, after Karuppu.
What is the film about?
Suriya plays Sanjay Vishwanath, an accomplished international shooter whose carefully planned life begins to change as he deals with family responsibilities, ageing and unexpected love.
Mamitha Baiju plays the female lead, while Radikaa Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon appear in important roles. The film combines family emotions, romance, humour and commercial elements.
The movie marks another collaboration between Venky Atluri and producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi after their earlier work. G. V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music, with Nimish Ravi handling cinematography and Navin Nooli serving as editor.
