US President Donald Trump congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on becoming India’s longest-serving continuously serving Prime Minister. Modi completed 4,399 consecutive days in office, surpassing the record of India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump described Modi as a “strong, healthy, and wise man” and praised his leadership.
BJP leaders across the country celebrated the milestone by conducting special prayers, havans, and religious ceremonies for the Prime Minister’s long life and good health.
Senior BJP leaders, including party president Nitin Nabin and several Union ministers, participated in prayer events in Delhi. Similar celebrations were held in Maharashtra and Odisha, where party workers offered special prayers to mark the historic achievement.
