Tibet was shaken by another earthquake as the region continues to grapple with the impact of recent natural disasters. The 5.3-magnitude earthquake was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), with the tremor occurring at a depth of around 35 kilometres.

Region Already Hit by Floods
Recent flooding triggered by a glacial collapse caused significant damage in areas along the Tibet-Nepal border. Roads, bridges and other infrastructure were damaged in several locations, disrupting transportation and communication.
The earthquake occurred while relief and rescue operations were still underway in areas affected by the floods, adding another challenge for authorities.
