While many private companies are often criticized for putting employees under heavy work pressure, an AI startup CEO in the United States has taken a different approach. Matan Grinberg, CEO of the startup, gifted every employee an Eight Sleep smart mattress cover worth nearly $3,000, or around ₹2.6 lakh.
Grinberg believes that improving employee productivity starts with improving sleep quality. Speaking on the “20VC” podcast, he compared software engineers to professional athletes, saying that top performance requires proper rest and recovery.
