A young man from Hyderabad has reportedly died by suicide in the United States after facing distress while searching for a job following the completion of his master’s degree.

The deceased was identified as Sai Pradeep, a resident of Dammaiguda in Hyderabad. He had travelled to Texas in 2024 to pursue higher studies and had recently completed his master’s degree from Anderson University.

Struggling to Find Employment

According to reports, Sai Pradeep had been looking for a job for around four months after completing his studies. He reportedly died by suicide on August 21 after becoming distressed over his difficulties in finding employment.

His death has left his family and relatives in Hyderabad deeply shocked.

Family Seeks Return of Mortal Remains

Following the tragedy, Sai Pradeep’s family has requested authorities to help bring his mortal remains back to India.

A fundraising campaign has also been initiated to help meet the expenses associated with bringing his body back and completing the necessary arrangements, according to reports.

A Tragic Reminder for Students Abroad

The incident highlights the pressures that international students can face after completing their education, particularly while navigating the job market and immigration-related uncertainties.

Students and young professionals facing overwhelming stress are encouraged to seek support from family, friends, university counsellors or professional mental-health services rather than dealing with such difficulties alone.
