As the nation gears up to celebrate its 80th Independence Day on August 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens to actively participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign by proudly hoisting the National Flag at their homes.

Sharing his message, the Prime Minister said the campaign is more than just displaying the Tricolour—it is an opportunity for every Indian to express love, pride, and respect for the nation. He encouraged people from all walks of life to come together and make the campaign a symbol of unity and patriotism.

This year's campaign is being promoted with the theme “Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Mann Tiranga”, emphasizing that the spirit of the Tricolour should live not only in every home but also in every heart. The initiative seeks to deepen citizens' emotional connection with the National Flag and the ideals it represents.

As part of the nationwide celebrations, governments, educational institutions, public organizations, and community groups are organizing Tiranga Yatras, awareness drives, cultural programmes, and patriotic events to encourage mass participation.

Citizens are also being encouraged to participate digitally by uploading selfies with the National Flag and downloading participation certificates through the official Har Ghar Tiranga platform.

The Prime Minister said that the campaign is a tribute to the sacrifices of India's freedom fighters and an opportunity to reinforce the values of unity, integrity, and national pride among every Indian.
