China has made startling allegations that foreign powers are using marine animals to conduct espionage operations in its coastal waters. According to China's Ministry of State Security, devices equipped with advanced sensors are being attached to sea creatures such as turtles and fish to collect sensitive information.

The ministry claimed that these animals are being used to gather strategic maritime data and other classified information related to China's coastal regions. It also alleged that Western intelligence agencies are employing new technologies and unconventional methods to monitor the country.

China further warned that nations around the world should remain vigilant against attempts to steal sensitive marine and security-related information. However, the Chinese government has not yet provided concrete evidence to support its claims.
