Puducherry election 2026 updates: Polling ends, voter turnout exceeds 89% in the Union Territory in a historic first

The Union Territory has a total of 9.5 lakh voters. There are 1,099 polling stations in Puducherry, and its enclaves of Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam. As many as 294 candidates are in the fray.
