TANA Mid-Atlantic is organizing a four-week intensive “Master Minds Chess Coaching” program designed to help young chess enthusiasts strengthen their fundamentals, improve tactical thinking and develop practical game strategies.

The sessions will be conducted every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, beginning September 26 and continuing through October 17, 2026, at Tri-Bridges Chess Club, 666 Exton Commons, Exton, Pennsylvania.

Full Event Details

The program offers specialized coaching according to participants’ playing levels:

  • ♟️ Beginner – $15: Board basics, tactics and tricks, endgames, checkmates, real-play skills and tournament etiquette.

  • ♟️ Intermediate – $20: Tactical calculation, pawn structure and strategy, complex endgames, opening repertoire and practical play.

  • ♟️ Advanced – $25: Deep calculation, positional understanding, master-level endgames and repertoire architecture.

The program will feature Joshua Anderson as the special guest chess mentor. Anderson is the President of Chess Journalists of America, Vice President–East of the Pennsylvania State Chess Federation, and Founder and President of Tri-Bridges Chess Club.

The initiative aims to provide students with a supportive environment where they can learn, practice, analyze games and build confidence on the chessboard.
