The American Telugu Association (ATA) will host a special leadership panel titled "Building Tomorrow's Leaders – Preparing for Community and Political Leadership" during the 19th ATA Conference & Youth Convention 2026.
The session is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 4:15 PM to 5:00 PM in Room 342 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
The distinguished panel will feature Sreedhar Nagireddy, former Democratic candidate for the Virginia State Senate; Jacob Harber, Director of the Fairfax County School Board; and Lawrence Roberts, Director of the Sorensen Institute for Civic Leadership.
The discussion will be moderated by Niraj Antani, former Ohio State Senator. The session will focus on preparing the next generation of leaders through civic engagement, community service, and political leadership while encouraging youth to take active roles in shaping the future.
ATA organizers said the panel is expected to provide valuable insights and inspiration for students, young professionals, and aspiring community leaders attending the convention.
ATA convention is being organized under the leadership of President Jayanth Challa and the ATA team. The organizing committee includes Convener Sridhar Banala, Coordinator Ravi Challa, National Coordinator Sharath Vemula, Director Sudheer Damidi, Co-Coordinator Zeenath Kundur, Co-Convener Aravind Muppidi, Co-National Coordinator Kaushik Sama, Conference Regional Coordinator Tirumala Reddy Munukuntla, and Co-Director Kiran Ala, who are working in close coordination to ensure the successful execution of this landmark event.
