The American Telugu Association (ATA) will host a special panel discussion titled “The Next Generation of Public Service” during the 19th ATA Conference & Youth Convention 2026, highlighting youth leadership and civic engagement.

The session is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 2:40 PM to 3:20 PM in Room 342 at the Baltimore Convention Center, Maryland.

The distinguished panel includes Sujit Koppula, Senior Advisor to Virginia Senator Kannan Srinivasan; Viswajith Mallampati, Political Media Planner at i360; and Aishani Srivastava of the Democratic Party of Virginia. The discussion will focus on the future of public service, civic leadership, political participation, and opportunities for the next generation.

The session will be moderated by Lawrence Roberts, Director of the Sorensen Institute for Civic Leadership.

The panel is expected to inspire young Telugu professionals and students to explore careers in public service, policymaking, and community leadership, making it one of the featured events of the ATA 2026 Convention.

This prestigious ATA convention is being organized under the leadership of ATA President Jayanth Challa and the ATA team. The organizing committee includes Convener Sridhar Banala, Coordinator Ravi Challa, National Coordinator Sharath Vemula, Director Sudheer Damidi, Co-Coordinator Zeenath Kundur, Co-Convener Aravind Muppidi, Co-National Coordinator Kaushik Sama, Conference Regional Coordinator Tirumala Reddy Munukuntla, and Co-Director Kiran Ala, who are working in close coordination to ensure the successful execution of this landmark event.
