The American Telugu Association (ATA) will present a special panel discussion titled "Excellence in Political Lobbying – Building Influence, Shaping Policy" during the 19th ATA Conference & Youth Convention, taking place from July 31 to August 2, 2026, at the Baltimore Convention Center, Maryland.
The session is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 4:10 PM, and will focus on the importance of political advocacy, public policy engagement, and community representation in the American political landscape.
The distinguished panel features Saat Alety, Partner at Federal Hall Policy Advisors, and Niraj Antani, Former Ohio Senator, who will share their expertise and experiences in political leadership, legislative affairs, and effective advocacy. The discussion will be moderated by Srilekha Reddy Palle, Chair of the Virginia Asian Advisory Board.
Organizers say the session is designed to provide valuable insights into how community leaders and young professionals can actively engage in the policymaking process, build meaningful relationships with elected officials, and strengthen the voice of the Indian-American community in public affairs.
The panel is expected to be one of the conference's key leadership sessions, offering attendees practical knowledge on political engagement, advocacy strategies, and civic participation while inspiring the next generation of community leaders.
This prestigious ATA convention is being organized under the leadership of ATA President Jayanth Challa and the ATA team.
