The Bay Area is gearing up for a grand celebration of Indian culture and traditions with “Dussehra Diwali Dhamaka – Festival of Lights.” Organized by the Association of Indo Americans (AIA) in association with Bolly 92.3 FM, the event is scheduled for October 17, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The festival will feature a spectacular 40-foot Raavan Dahan, followed by fireworks, making it one of the major highlights of the evening.
The celebrations will also include Ram Leela, cultural programs, festival shopping and a Great Indian Food Festival. Visitors can participate in Maha Mangal Aarti, Rath Yatra, Disco Dandiya and Karwa Chauth celebrations.
Other attractions include carnival rides, a Rangoli competition, chess, carroms and tambola. A Free Health Fair, presented by the South Asian Health Center, will also be organized for the community.
