The Krishna Heritage Center in McKinney, Dallas, came alive with devotion and spiritual fervor as the community celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami with great grandeur.

The celebrations, held on September 4, 2026, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of devotees and families who gathered to commemorate the divine birth of Lord Krishna.

The event featured a series of special spiritual programs, including Japa Meditation, devotional Kirtans, Abhishekam, Archana, 108 special offerings, Pallaki Seva, Jhulan Seva and Go Puja. Devotees participated with deep devotion, creating a vibrant and sacred atmosphere throughout the celebrations.

A special Kids Mela added to the festive spirit, with children taking part in fun games and entertainment activities. The event provided families with an opportunity to celebrate Janmashtami together while introducing children to Indian spiritual traditions and cultural values.

One of the major highlights of the celebrations was the midnight Harathi, marking the auspicious birth of Lord Krishna. The temple premises resonated with Krishna chants and devotional fervor as devotees came together to seek the blessings of the divine.

Free prasadam was also served to all devotees as part of the celebrations.
