Preparations are in full swing for the Houston Telugu Cultural Association Golden Jubilee Convention 2026, as the organization gears up to celebrate 50 years of service and Telugu unity with grandeur.

As part of the preparations, the newly elected Houston Telugu Cultural Association 2026โ€“27 Executive Committee met Consul General of India D.C. Manjunath. Led by Houston Telugu Cultural Association President Yadagiri Reddy, along with community leader Charlie Chowdary, the delegation discussed preserving Telugu language and culture, strengthening community unity, and inspiring younger generations to embrace their Telugu heritage.

During the meeting, the committee formally invited the Consul General to attend the TCA Golden Jubilee Celebrations, scheduled for August 7 and 8, as the Chief Guest. Houston Telugu Cultural Association leaders reaffirmed their commitment to making the 50th anniversary a landmark celebration showcasing the richness of Telugu culture on the global stage.

To ensure the convention's success, nearly 30 specialized committees and more than 150 volunteers have been working tirelessly over the past three months. Every aspect of the event is being meticulously planned to deliver a memorable experience for every Telugu family attending.

The convention is being organized under the leadership of Houston Telugu Cultural Association President Yadagiri Reddy and Convention Convener Jitender Reddy, with the support of the convention core team. The historic celebration will take place at the Fort Bend Epicenter under the theme, "50 Years of Service... A Golden Celebration of Telugu Unity." Organizers have invited Telugu families from across the country to be part of this milestone event.
