The 22nd Annual India Day Parade–2026, organized by the Indian Business Association (IBA) to commemorate India’s Independence celebrations, was held grandly in New Jersey, USA. The vibrant parade began in Iselin and proceeded from Woodbridge to Oak Tree Road in Edison, drawing thousands of Indian Americans who participated with great enthusiasm.
The event featured popular Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra, actor Abhimanyu Dassani, singer Richa Anirudh, Punjabi artist Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh, and singer Monank Patel, who added glamour and excitement to the celebrations. Their performances and messages further energized the festive atmosphere.
The parade, decorated with the Indian Tricolour, was one of the major highlights of the celebrations. Indian Americans from different states participated in traditional attire and showcased their regional culture and heritage. Community organizations, business leaders, and large numbers of youngsters also took part, making the parade a vibrant celebration of Indian unity.
Following the parade, a grand Cultural Fest & Mela was organized behind the Umiyadham Temple. The festival featured cultural performances, music programs, dance shows, Indian food stalls, and family entertainment, attracting large crowds.
The India Day Parade showcased Indian unity, culture, diversity, and patriotism on American soil. With thousands of Indian Americans participating and communities coming together to celebrate India’s heritage, the event reflected the spirit of “Unity in Diversity” and brought the festive atmosphere of India’s Independence celebrations to New Jersey.
