The New York Telangana Telugu Association (NYTTA) is set to celebrate the traditional Bonalu Festival with great enthusiasm on Sunday, July 26, 2026, bringing the spirit of Telangana to the Telugu community in the United States.
The celebrations will begin at 10:00 AM at Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, New York. The event will feature traditional Bonalu offerings to Goddess Mahankali, vibrant cultural performances, Pothuraju processions, devotional programs, and other festivities that reflect Telangana's rich cultural heritage.
Organizers have also arranged a complimentary traditional lunch for all attendees. A QR code has been provided on the event poster for easy registration.
NYTTA President Ravinder Kodella, Executive Committee members, and the organizing team have invited Telugu families from across the region to participate in large numbers and make the celebration a grand success. The association said the event aims to preserve and promote Telangana's traditions and pass them on to future generations living abroad.
