The Sukhibhava Free Health Camp, jointly organized by the Telugu Association of North Texas (TANTEX) and the Texas Indo-American Physicians Society (TIPS), received an encouraging response from members of the local community.
The health camp was held on September 12 at Rejoice Lutheran Church in Frisco, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Physicians from multiple medical specialties participated in the camp and provided free medical consultations, health awareness guidance, and necessary medical recommendations to community members.
Specialists from Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Cardiology, Nutrition, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Nephrology, Neurology, Sleep Medicine, and other medical fields offered their services during the event.
Frisco Mayor Mark Hill attended the program and visited the health camp. He appreciated the community service initiative jointly organized by TANTEX and TIPS and commended the organizers, physicians, and volunteers for their efforts toward promoting community health and well-being.
Speaking on the occasion, TANTEX President Madhavi Lokireddy said that the organization’s goal is to promote health awareness within the community and make professional medical guidance accessible to those who need it. She expressed her happiness over the strong response from community members and thanked the physicians, volunteers, and organizing team for dedicating their time and efforts to the initiative.
The organizers also extended their special thanks to the participating physicians, sponsors, volunteers, and media partners for their support in making the health camp a success.
