The Telugu Association of Memphis (TAM) is gearing up to host TAM Mahila 2026, a special women-focused celebration under the theme “Her Era – Her Pride, Our Legacy.”The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The evening will celebrate women, their achievements, culture and individuality, while bringing together the Telugu women’s community in Memphis. The event will feature Indian cuisine and desserts, entertainment and cultural activities.
The dress code for the evening is Indo-Western, with attendees encouraged to embrace Bridgerton-style outfits, shararas, sarees and fusion fashion.
The TAM 2026 Executive Committee, including Rajani Narra, Cultural Secretary, and Sahiti Kilaru, Joint Cultural Secretary, along with other committee members, is working hard to make the event a grand success.
With the message “Empower Her Universe – A Legacy of Limitless Potential,” TAM Mahila 2026 promises to be an evening of celebration, connection, culture and empowerment for women in the Memphis Telugu community.
