The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) Mid-Atlantic successfully hosted its heartwarming "Walk with Dad" event on June 21 at Valley Forge National Historical Park, Pennsylvania, in celebration of Father's Day. The event brought together fathers and their children for a memorable day celebrating family bonds, making it another successful milestone in TANA Mid-Atlantic's growing list of community initiatives.

Since July 2025, TANA Mid-Atlantic has been consistently organizing a series of community, cultural, and family-oriented programs. "Walk with Dad" marked the organization's 40th consecutive event, reflecting its continued commitment to strengthening the Telugu community across the region.

The event was attended by TANA President Dr. Naren Kodali, TANA Board Director Ravi Potluri, TANA Mid-Atlantic Regional Representative Phani Kanteti, and TANA Benefit Coordinator Venkat Singu, whose guidance and support played an important role in organizing the program.

A major highlight of the event was the presence of renowned film actor Suman Talwar, who attended as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, he spoke about the invaluable role fathers play in shaping their children's lives and encouraged families to cherish every moment together. He also spent time interacting with attendees and posed for photographs with fathers and children, making the occasion even more memorable.

Adding entertainment to the celebration, Mimicry Ramesh captivated the audience with his lively performances and songs. Inspirational speeches by Makhdum Syed and Umakanth further enriched the event, emphasizing the importance of family values and parental relationships.

More than 200 fathers and their children enthusiastically participated in the celebration, making it one of the most successful Father's Day events organized by TANA Mid-Atlantic.

The organizers expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Suresh Yalamanchi for his dedicated efforts in making the event a grand success. Special thanks were also extended to Sunil Koganti, Ranjith Mamidi, Sridhar Sadineni, Deepti Koka, Santosh Routhu, Chalam Pavuluri, Krishna Nandamuri, Viswanath Koganti, and Prasad Kasturi for their valuable contributions.

As a token of appreciation, Volunteer Service Hour Certificates were presented to all volunteers who worked tirelessly for the event. A complimentary lunch was also served to all attendees, making the celebration a warm, enjoyable, and memorable experience for every family.
