The Telugu Fine Arts Society (TFAS) Annual Picnic was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Edison, New Jersey, bringing together Telugu families for a day filled with fun, friendship, and community spirit.
Hundreds of Telugu families participated in the TFAS Annual Picnic held at the Edison Senior Citizen Center, making it a memorable community gathering. The event featured exciting games for both adults and children, along with Bingo, raffle draws, Antakshari, face painting for kids, and Mehndi, keeping participants engaged throughout the day.
A special highlight of the picnic was the Holistic Wellness Medley presented by Sri Murthy Manchikanti, which received an enthusiastic response from attendees. Families also enjoyed delicious food, entertainment, and quality time together in a vibrant outdoor atmosphere.
The event was organized under the leadership of the TFAS Board of Trustees 2026–2028, including Uma Makam, Arundathi Shakelli, Rashi Shamshabad, Lokender Girkala, Hari Sanka, Meena Ramani Kurecheti, Seshagiri Rao Khambhammettu, Shailaja Medidi, and Nagalakshmi Padmanabhini, whose efforts contributed to the success of the annual gathering.
The organizers said the picnic continues to strengthen community bonds while celebrating Telugu culture and traditions, with participants already looking forward to next year's event.
