The countdown has officially begun for the Telangana American Telugu Association (TTA) Mega Convention 2026, which will be held from July 17 to 19 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The three-day convention is expected to bring together thousands of Telugu people from across the United States and India, celebrating Telugu culture, heritage, business, education, literature, and entertainment under one roof.

Preparations for the prestigious event are in full swing under the leadership of TTA President Naveen Reddy Mallipeddi. Organizers say the convention aims not only to unite the Telugu community but also to introduce Telangana's rich cultural traditions and values to the younger generation through a wide range of engaging programs.

Several distinguished guests from India and the United States have been invited to attend. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with ministers, elected representatives, and political leaders from various parties, has been invited to participate in the convention. The event is also expected to feature renowned personalities from the fields of cinema, medicine, business, and academia.

Among the invited dignitaries are Academy Award-winning music composer M.M. Keeravaani, noted physicians Dr. Gurava Reddy, Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy, Dr. Venumadhav Reddy, businessman Dr. M.S. Reddy, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, actors J.D. Chakravarthy, Sunil, and Naveen Polishetty, along with several other prominent personalities.

The convention will feature an extensive lineup of activities, including business and startup seminars, Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, Women's Forum, Youth Banquet, Political Forum, Matrimony Meet & Greet, Srinivasa Kalyanam, awards presentations, and cultural showcases highlighting Telangana's traditions.

Entertainment will be one of the major attractions throughout the convention. The Orange Street Band will perform during the banquet night, followed by a live concert by the Theory Band on the second day. The grand finale will feature an exclusive musical performance by M.M. Keeravaani. The event will also include spectacular performances by Parampara Dance Ensemble and the internationally acclaimed Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre.

Literary and cultural programs have also been given special importance. A unique Sangeetha Dashavadhanam will feature renowned music scholar Sharath Chandra. The Geethanjali program, dedicated to lyricists and music lovers, will be led by celebrated lyricist, singer, and composer Kasarla Shyam, with performances by Sharada Akunoori and Dheeraj.

Another highlight will be Sahityopanyasa Sumam, featuring an address by renowned cardiologist and literary scholar Dr. Alla Srinivas Reddy. In addition, the Janapada and Traditional Songs program will showcase performances by acclaimed folk singer and parody artist Dr. Aruna Subbarao.

Organizers say the TTA Mega Convention 2026 has been carefully designed to offer something for every age group while strengthening cultural connections among Telugu families worldwide. With an exciting blend of cultural celebrations, educational forums, business networking, spiritual events, and world-class entertainment, the convention is expected to be one of the largest and most memorable Telugu gatherings in North America.
