The 17th death anniversary of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP founder leader, Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, was observed with emotional tributes in New Jersey.
The event was organized by YSRCP USA on September 1, 2026, at Paper House in Plainsboro Township, New Jersey. The program began at 7 PM, with several YSRCP leaders and admirers of the late leader coming together to remember his contributions and legacy.
Challa Madhusudhan Reddy, Deputy State General Secretary of YSRCP, attended the program as the chief guest.
During the event, floral tributes were offered to Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, popularly known as YSR. Participants recalled his public service and his focus on the welfare of farmers, poor families, and weaker sections of society.
YSR served as the Chief Minister of the undivided Andhra Pradesh and earned a special place in the hearts of Telugu people through several welfare and development initiatives. His supporters remembered his leadership and the impact of his welfare-oriented governance.
Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy passed away on September 2, 2009, in a helicopter crash in the Nallamala forest region. Seventeen years later, his legacy continues to be remembered by his supporters and admirers across the Telugu community worldwide.
The New Jersey gathering provided an opportunity for YSRCP leaders and YSR followers in the United States to pay their respects and remember the late leader's contribution to public life.
