On the occasion of the 17th death anniversary of former united Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, and in memory of those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, the Dr. YSR Foundation America organized a mega blood donation camp in Philadelphia.
Held with the support of the American Red Cross, the event witnessed the participation of more than 300 people.Foundation President Alla Rami Reddy, Dr. Gosala Raghava Reddy, Vijay Polamreddy, and other members attended the event.
For the past 17 years, the YSR Foundation has been organizing blood donation camps every September to mark YSR’s death anniversary. So far, more than 2,300 people have donated blood through these initiatives.
The organizers said similar service activities are being conducted not only in Philadelphia, but also in Dallas and other cities.
The foundation expressed its special gratitude to Chief Advisor Dr. Prem Reddy, YSR supporters, foundation members, and every blood donor who contributed to the initiative.
The American Red Cross specially appreciated the YSR Foundation for consistently organizing successful mega blood donation camps every year.
