An NRI family from Andhra Pradesh has reportedly gone missing amid the devastating floods in Nepal, triggering concern among their relatives. Santosh, the elder son of Subhash Chandra Sahu from Panda Veedhi in Manyam district, is settled in London. He had travelled to Nepal along with his wife Surabhi, 43, son Spandan, 18, and daughter Saina, 13.
The family was reportedly travelling towards Manasarovar when the vehicle they were travelling in was swept away by the floodwaters.
Nepalese authorities have launched search operations to trace the missing family members and locate the vehicle.
The incident has left their relatives deeply worried. With heavy rains and flooding affecting several areas, rescue and search operations are facing challenges.
Relatives and locals are hoping for the safe return of the missing NRI family.
