Eight women of Indian origin, including six Indian Americans, have earned a place on Fortune’s prestigious 2026 Most Powerful Women list, highlighting their growing influence in global business and leadership.
Among them, Indian-American biotech leader Reshma Kewalramani ranked 9th, while banking executive Gunjan Kedia secured the 14th position. Networking industry veteran Jayshree Ullal ranked 31st, followed by Netflix content chief Bela Bajaria at 35th.
India’s richest woman Roshni Nadar Malhotra was ranked 33rd, while UK-based Leena Nair secured the 37th spot. Financial services leader Meena Lakdawala Flynn ranked 74th, and manufacturing executive Revathi Advaithi stood at 75th.
The list features women leading 94 companies across 20 countries, collectively overseeing 11.8 million employees and generating $7.3 trillion in annual revenue, underscoring the significant impact of women of Indian origin on the global corporate landscape.
