The political controversy surrounding Udhayanidhi Stalin's recent remarks has intensified after actor-politician Khushbu Sundar publicly supported the Vijay government's decision to take action against him.

Reacting to the issue, Khushbu strongly criticized the language used by Udhayanidhi, stating that public speeches should never include abusive, vulgar, or derogatory remarks, particularly when they involve women. She emphasized that women should not be dragged into political battles or subjected to personal attacks.

Khushbu also questioned the conduct of political leaders, saying she had expected greater responsibility and maturity in public discourse. According to her, leaders should set an example by maintaining dignity and respecting others, regardless of political differences.

Supporting the government's action, she said that objectionable public remarks cannot be normalized under the guise of political criticism. She added that accountability is essential when statements cross the line of decency and respect.

The issue has sparked widespread debate across Tamil Nadu, with political parties, actors, and members of the public expressing differing opinions. While some have supported the government's response, others have questioned whether the action taken was proportionate.
