Exit poll results for the Kerala Assembly elections have triggered mixed reactions across political camps. While the official results will be declared on May 4, all three major alliances are making claims of victory.

Most exit polls predict an edge for the Congress-led United Democratic Front. Seat projections for the UDF vary widely, ranging from a high of 75 to 93 seats, while some surveys estimate a lower range of 45 to 69 seats.

However, the ruling Left Democratic Front has rejected these projections. CPM state secretary M V Govindan stated that the party is not concerned about exit polls, adding that there is no anti-incumbency and that Pinarayi Vijayan remains the top choice for Chief Minister among the people of Kerala.

Meanwhile, the BJP also has some reason to be optimistic, with surveys suggesting it could win up to three seats, potentially marking its entry into the state assembly.

All eyes are now on May 4, when the actual results will reveal the true verdict of the people.
