Actor R. Madhavan has put an end to speculation about his political future while promoting his upcoming film GDN, in which he portrays legendary inventor G.D. Naidu. During a recent interaction, Madhavan was asked about Chief Minister Vijay's remarkable political rise and whether he would ever consider following a similar path.
Responding to the question, Madhavan expressed happiness for Vijay's achievement and said that although they have known each other personally, he now respectfully refers to him as "CM Vijay." He wished the Chief Minister success in serving the people of Tamil Nadu.
Addressing rumors about his own political ambitions, Madhavan categorically denied any plans to join politics. He stated that politics is "a double-edged sword" and emphasized that his passion remains cinema. According to the actor, he has no desire to become a Chief Minister or pursue a political career, adding that acting continues to be his primary focus.
