ISRO officially announced four astronauts for the Gaganyaan mission. Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, Prashanth Balakrishnan Nair, Ajit Krishnan, and Angad Pratap are part of the mission.
In October 2026, three astronauts will spend 7 days in space. This is the first Indian space journey after Rakesh Sharma in 1984.
