Residents of Jukkal Mandal are facing severe difficulties due to a shortage of computer operators at the MPDO office, affecting e-Panchayat services for 30 gram panchayats in the mandal.
According to officials, three computer operators were working at the Jukkal MPDO office. However, one operator was deputed to Birkur Mandal, while another is currently on maternity leave. In addition, a Junior Assistant from the office has also been deputed to Dongli Mandal.
With key staff unavailable, residents visiting the MPDO office for various government-related services are reportedly being forced to make multiple trips. Residents say this is causing them financial losses and wasting valuable time, while also making it difficult for them to attend to their agricultural work.
Residents have urged district authorities to immediately issue orders bringing the deputed staff back to their original posts at the Jukkal MPDO office. They also appealed to officials to take steps to ensure that public services are delivered without delays.
