Heavy rain lashed several parts of Hyderabad on Thursday night, bringing normal life to a standstill. Areas including Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar, Shaikpet, Manikonda, Punjagutta, Mehdipatnam, Nampally, Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar, Secunderabad, Malakpet, Begumpet, Somajiguda, and Khairatabad received intense rainfall.
Gachibowli, Hitec City, and Kondapur also witnessed heavy showers. The downpour led to severe waterlogging on major roads, causing traffic congestion across the city. Commuters faced long delays while returning home from work. Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel during adverse weather conditions.
