A knife attack was reported from Hassannagar in Hyderabad's Bahadurpura area on Wednesday night, leaving a man injured. According to police, the victim, Mohammed Mubeen, a resident of Shastripuram, was attacked after an argument with another man identified as Nizam.
Police said Mubeen had stepped out of his workplace when the accused allegedly intercepted him, leading to a verbal altercation. During the dispute, the accused reportedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Mubeen on his leg, causing a bleeding injury.
Local residents alerted the police, who reached the spot and shifted the injured man to Osmania General Hospital for medical treatment. His condition is reported to be stable, and he is receiving necessary care.
According to police, a criminal case has been registered, and teams are searching for the accused. Officials said the motive behind the attack is still under investigation, and further action will be taken based on the findings.
Investigators are also examining the relationship between the victim and the accused to determine what led to the confrontation. Authorities have appealed to anyone with information about the incident to assist the investigation.
